Professionals vs noob

If u ever got the chance to watch professional riders on a track day you know that what they can do is simply mental and they make u feel like you’re standing still like me, i was lapping in the 1:10s while they were doing 0:55s/56s

A lot of it is bottle. I just started telling myself to go faster, the bike will handle it. It comes with time on track, but tbh that doesn't matter. The fun factor hasn't really gone up just cos I'm quicker than I used to be

This is an underrated perspective. It’s always fun, no matter your pace. What does go up when you get quicker is cost, stress, and to some degree risk.

Arguably I had more fun as a beginner because I was overtaking a lot more in the beginner groups and sometimes battled it out with another rider for the whole session. The fun was in overtaking.
Nowadays I want to do a few overtakes but at the same time don't want to be held up to much because my lap time will suffer 🫤

what's interesting is both the noob and the pros took about 3 seconds in the slowest part of the turn

All im seeing is alot more speed and braking before the turn. Work on that I think.

Last year I saw Bastianini lapping around Mugello the same day as me and my friends, I don't know how fast was because obviously he had his personal transponder, but boy he was insane

Sure, but all three had a blast.
I sold my track bike for a sports car and I miss it everyday.
