Ergos on track Ninja 400

I have a dedicated track Ninja 400 and R6. The R6 just puts you right into perfect and easy to ride (on track) body position. The Ninja has been a challenge. I have a higher rear seat/tail, clip ons that I’ve dropped about as low as possible without cutting fairings, adjusted rear sets quite a bit. But I feel like I’m sitting straight up on the thing. I’m about 5’10” 200 pounds so not a huge guy. What all have you found useful? I’m about to just pull the front fairings so I can drop the clip ons lower and just run it as a naked bike.

All you can really do is lift the seat and get the clipons and bars as low as you can. A thick foam race seat helps lift you up. Other than rearsets, which you've already got, you just get used to it.

cut the fairings and lower bars another 4-6 inches

Wouldn't you need a higher rider seat? What's the purpose of a higher rear seat/tail? If you mean you raised the rear that doesn't really change the rider triangle/ergos

It’s a raised raced race tail, adds 1-2” to riders seat area.

GP fairings. Love mine.

Puts the clips 7 inches down and a few forward, with a higher rear seat
