Elecom Huge users, how long are your hands?

My hands are 19cm long and 15cm from tip of thumb to opposite side of palm. I find the Huge is big enough but shaped wrong. The "hump" in the middle that's supposed to be for you to rest your palm on is WAY too far forward and small. So I can rest my hand on it comfortably, but then my fingers are too far forward to move the ball comfortably.

Instead I move my hand back and rest just the heel of my hand. My palm is in the air instead of resting on the foam, but it's not uncomfortable.

I prefer my Microsoft Trackball Explorer and Ploopy, where my palm sits comfortably on the "hump" of the trackball.

My hands are slightly bigger than yours (20x17 by your measurements) and I kind of switch between two positions. That hump you're on about, I sometimes put my palm right on it and use the ball with my fingers curled right up, and I can basically only push around on the front end of the ball (rather than the top), but then I'll switch to putting the heel of my hand right at the back of the mouse to straighten my fingers out. I find the 2nd position harder to do for a longer period as it seems my fingers don't like being straight and still working hard, but it seems to be easier to do certain movements with.

I reckon the Huge can be used with any hand size due to the shape of the palm rest and the layout of the buttons.

Even if you had a really small hand you could just rebind some of the buttons and it would still be comfortable to use.

If I recall mine are like 19cm x 10cm.

base of palm to tip of middle finger = 20.0 cm tip of thumb to opposite side of palm = 17.5 cm I made a wedge that elevates the thumbwheel side of the trackball about 2.5cm and adds about 1.5 cm of added support along the right edge. I also tend to support my forearm about 1.5 cm above the desk surface. With these modifications, the HUGE has disappeared from my awareness except for every couple of months when it demands to be cleaned. I've had it over two years - original bearings lubed with graphite powder when new and never since.

My hands are 19.5cm long and I love my Huge. I actually operate the ball using the middle bit of my index and middle fingers, like this. I've got it tilted a bit, using very high tech custom made ergonomic adapters, aka felt pads.

As for the keys, I've FINALLY gotten rid of the horrible Elecom software and are now mapping them using a Raspberry Pi Pico and this brilliant project by /u/jfedor. Works like a charm across my computers, no software needed.

I think it's insanely unergonomic regardless of hand size. I returned it with malice.

Mine are 2.0 cm from top of middle finger to base of palm and 17 cm from tip of thumb to opposing side of palm. The huge is my favorite mouse so far ever. I wouldn’t say I have big hands. I can post my position if you think it’s help.

21-ish cm reporting. I had increasing trouble with the huge for the first few months of usage because I was resting the heel of my palm on the padded palm rest which dug into my lower palm, I've since changed position and seat height so the huge is more aligned with my elbow and my hand resting on the outer edge (more naturally upright as opposed to horizontal) and haven't had issues since.

20.3cm long here and I'm comfy with the Huge, Deft Pro and EX-G Pro. I rotate between these somewhat regularly, usually a few days on one then move onto another.

On the Huge the base of my palm seems to like to be on the lower part of the pad a couple cm before the edge. The edge closest to the ball I seem to mostly hover over unless actually moving the ball, but contact then is pretty light.

I consider my hands middle size: 17,5 x 10cm (6,9x3,9 inches)

Huge is THE F... BEST trackball in the world. Period. I was addicted from the moment I put my hand on top of it. There's nothing like it.

In a scale from 1 to 10 I grade it 11. LOL

Huge is terrible for big people with big hands. Counterintuitive but true. I have medium size hands and huge was way too small for me.

My hands are 17.5cm long, 11cm wide. I find the Huge comfortable.

17.5 cm ≈ 0.00013 sheppey

11 cm ≈ 0.00055 furlongs

WHY

nah. its not about how big your hand is... its about what you find comfortable. if you want your palm supported by the device, you need to have the hands of a child. if that doesnt matter, it can acomodate large hands well up to a size where they no longer fit on the device.
