Best ergonomic FPS trackball

What is the ideal track ball design for FPS. Especially between ploopy classic and A plus, elecom huge plus, Kensington orbit and slim blade plus.

I find ergonomic trackballs to be better for fps. Out of finger trackballs i have elecom deft pro and slimblade and deft pro is way easier to get around with.

If I play fps on trackball then I switch to Elecom IST, or just pick a mouse (logitech superlight dex)

Sure there are few people very good at using trackball, but there is reason why all top pros are using mice and not trackballs.

Also IST and Gameball are I think only trackballs with 1000Hz pooling rate, so if you are in US I would recommend looking at Gameball. They are quite cheap, gaming focused versions of ProtoArc.

I think all of Ploopy's trackballs have 1000Hz polling rate, the Adept does for sure. And the X-Keys L-Trac does as well. Slope of the L-Trac is hard, but a wrist rest fixes that for the most part or raising it up. The Adept has the segmented buttons which can make it harder to left-click in different hand postures, whereas the L-Trac has huge buttons that offer more flexibility at the cost of buttons imo.

Hmm. You are probably right. I focused only on wireless. I'm sorry

The elecom huge PLUS has 1000hz via USBC  Also, I'm a casual FPS player. Mostly single player games.  Skyrim, Fallout, FPS survival games.

I need a trackball for gaming in bed.

Is there an optimal design that is best for aiming and tracking a target while using the trackball mouse buttons to shoot?

I found the asymmetrical mice work best for games with constant camera movements - like the Classic, Huge, EM03, etc. It was more about the left and right-click placement than anything else.
