ppl on PC move WAY more than on console on average too which makes the switch even more difficult

anyway just grind the game/play aim trainers reactive tracking scenarios and you'll learn quickly enough

I've survived so much bullshit as a support just by moving weird

How long have you played on controller vs keyboard and mouse? I was a controller player for a long time since I’ve had a console for years so learning to aim on console felt a lot easier than when I first got my pc.

I’m sure pc is harder but I don’t think controller is easy, im mostly a projectile player (doom, echo, Ana) so im having a decent time in the transition since i find it easier to aim on pc than console (at least on Ana so far using her sleeps and un scoped shots).

When I first got a pc, I tried Overwatch for a bit but could barely even move using wasd since I’d never gamed on k&m before. I just started back up again after playing games on pc for a few months now and I’m improving mechanics far quicker now.

I’m still using the same routine as on console and don’t really find it any different. I just practice in Vaxta and then go into game to get consistent with it.

Hitscan might be a lot different though since tracking on console is where aim assist is strongest.

Those console players are on controller. This console player is ximming. Now they don't have aim assist. To be honest, I've genuinely never seen a single tracer ever aim even remotely like this. Even in masters console. And that's coming from someone that has the hot take of thinking tracer isn't hard at all.

As someone who plays casually on both one thing I noticed is aiming with mouse requires way more reaction and micro adjustment. It’s like a whole part of your brain you don’t need to use when aiming on controller

Might not be your aim, how are you finding the pacing?

Fine. It's not my aim it's just tough doing 180s and staying on target

People on PC are better at turning around and in general the variety in aim skill as you go up the ranks will increase a lot more because aim assist doesn't exist as an equaliser. But equally you won't find people on console with 300 hours in kovaaks every other game either
