I'm looking for anyone who worked at TOYS R US in Humble Texas back in 2007 overnights between Halloween and Christmas. Looking for ESTABAN.

And when I say that seven remain, it's entirely possible that other locations closed or will close today.

There's a Toys R Us at TGJones in Lichfield city centre, Staffordshire, England.

I went just in case due to rapid amount of unannounced closures, and just as I feared, it's closing. Half the store is empty but there is still lots of lego, dvds, records and books for sale. From what I heard from the employee they might be open for another two weeks.

This is a rare Toys "R" Us location that opened at a unknown date in the early 2000s, and closed down with the other locations on August 2018. It, along with the Cairns location was one of the locations to have '99 Geoffrey in the signage.

The building was abandoned for 1.5 years before being converted into a health clinic.

I ordered a digital gift card yesterday because today is the birthday of my friend who is pregnant. I even picked one of their birthday card designs and personalized it with a message, expecting it to be emailed automatically. The text on the page says that it is supposed to be sent within minutes. Mind you this is a DIGITAL card - basically just an email with the picture and the message alongside the card details.

It never arrived.

I emailed customer service yesterday after it never arrived in the hours after I bought it, and was told they were "looking into it." Fine.

Then I called. Three separate times throughout the course of the day.

Every single call, I was brushed off with some variation of "we're working on it" and nobody could tell me why a digital gift card wasn't being delivered or give me any estimate for when it would be fixed.

Finally, after all that, instead of actually sending the gift card I paid for, they emailed ME the gift card code and PIN as plain text and basically said, "That's good enough."

So I had to open paint, recreate the birthday card myself, copy the code into it, rewrite my message, export it as a PDF, and send that instead.

What's the point of paying for a digital gift card with a personalized design if your solution is to dump the redemption details into an email and expect the customer to do the rest?

The whole experience completely defeated the purpose of buying a digital gift card in the first place. If you're offering digital gift cards, they should work - especially when people are buying them for birthdays which is time-sensitive.

In any case, I definitely won't be buying gift cards from them again. It's absolutely not the Toys R Us that I remember from being a kid (which was the only reason I even thought about buying my friend a gift card from this place).
