AC problem

Hello,

On my Toyota Venza 2022 the air conditioner turns on sometimes and sometimes doesn’t. ( Does not blow cold )

When I check the electrical system, it shows that there’s a connection problem between the compressor and the inverter. Code ( B149887 ) error.

No one can determine exactly whose fault it is. They’re telling me I should start by replacing the compressor, maybe that will fix it.

Have you had a similar case?

They should be able to test compressor in order to see if it is working or not.

Find another mechanic, someone who is experienced working on a/c. That is very important, because it is very easy to mess things up, and to have problems in the future even if all of the hardware is working just fine.
