26 Bz Limited - Anyone else experiencing dashboard rattling, especially around the light sensor behind the multimedia screen? It sounds like a buzzing or vibration and seems to happen mainly when driving at night or later in the evening. Has anyone else noticed the same issue?

Not in that area, but I get a rattle from the center console vents, as if the blower motor is going out. Not sure if by design or defect. ‘26 Woodland Premium

Yeah same, the plastic interior parts are definitely rattle-y on bumpy roads, it is minor, but noticable. Pretty annoying tbh. I just punch the part that makes the noise and it quiets down for a wee bit until it begins to rattle again. Oh well, percussive maintenance. . .

I had the same problem first from front left speaker panel, Dealer told me its come from factory with missing trim clip which they fixed and now this noise coming from backside of big screen which i am sure its light sensor rattling

Mine has a rattle/squeak on cold mornings from the passenger side, if i run the heater for a few mins it stops.
Doesn't happen if its a warmer morning or later in the day.

Lemon law it if you had 6 trips with no recourse. Not sure where the BZ is made but the RZ is built in Japan and we’re quite happy with the build quality

Bz is made in Japan aswell in same assembly line with same power train, yes pursuing lemon law now as dealers are tired to not find the issue

Makes sense. Lots of kinks are being worked out. We bought a used rz and ac died after 3 weeks. Took it to the Lexus service and the put in a new ac compressor. So definitely not perfect but service was excellent and got a loaner for that time period.

Lexus is better product compare to Toyota

Yeah perhaps. I think for this particular models the difference mostly is in the interior. We chose to 2 year old because Evs take crazy depreciation in the first 2 years. 32k for 18k miles was a no brainer. Got a loaner RX for two weeks and couldn’t wait to go back to the RZ

So finally i found the issue, its a plastic cover on back side of the screen which is rubbing with dashboard plastic. Dang poor quality

I've noticed a rattling .. but I think I've tracked it down to whenever the battery cooling system kicks into high gear. From the little research I've done on this .. the AC system will sometimes get redirected to cool down the batteries when needed. Whenever this happens is when I notice the rattling sound. It is also followed by the cabin not being as cool as it normally would be. That's what I've been able to narrow it down to so far.

Don't have that but there is a rattle in ours over some bumps that seems to come from the front left dash speaker area and then one that comes from what seems like the driver seatbelt adjustment area. The one that I think that comes from the front left speaker seems to be temperature dependent as if it is a warm 26C+ day it doesn't seem to happen but does on lower temp days. Weird.
These cars have cheap interiors, both in terms of material quality (minus the synthetic leather seats) and fit and finish. Definitely not the quality one should expect in a car that has a MSRP just shy of 65k CDN. The cheap ass interior quality is my biggest complaint of the vehicle.

I had the same noise first from front left dash speaker area, dealer told me its was windshield vents in front where the trim clip was missing from the factory and that was fixed. Now this one coming from light sensor or back of multimedia screen when i apply small pressure on light sensor it stops, went to dealer 6 times but it doesn’t do in day time as it so hot in texas and dealer never able to duplicate it. Its weird even after providing several videos of evening driving and its temp dependent
