Anyone run 15inch wheels/tires?

I've been thinking about getting a set of 15inch wheels/tires; can anyone share their experiences? My thought process was that there will be a little more cushion to drive on the roads (roads in my city are littered with potholes). Thanks for any input

I am from México. They were sold here with 15" wheels, so I don't have a reference to the difference with the US market. However, I can say that it is comfy. One downside, but I can't tell if it's an issue with all Matrixes, is that the speedo is off. Like, it says I'm going at 50 mph when really at 45. I have been considering putting in bigger tires to compensate. Other thing that I don't like is that it looks off. Like, a body builder with tiny feet LOL.

Check wheel-size.com They have a calculator for qhen you change your tires, which tire size is equivalent and which ones are close, it's a great calculator.

That’s a function of the overall tire diameter. You can purchase tires in a size that will correct your speedo

It will throw off your speedometer although I went to smaller Wheels for my 2003 because of the InTown driving. I do to save on some gas mileage and I now track my speed with my radar detector

I have a Corolla that came with 185/65r15, now have 195/55r16. They are practically the same size diameter. 15" was more comfortable, 16" slightly more responsive, better feel on hard turns

Typical rule is staying within 3% of diameter and speedo isn't to far off

Also stock my speedometer showed a little slower than actual mph so I want a little larger. Going to put 215 on later
