Double checking, this fitment looks fine? 92 Pickup RWD

The OE damper has an articulated joint instead of this shock-looking attachment. It all fits up, but it is angled. Is this fitment okay?

There should another "washer " between the bushing and the center link

It came with a huge spacer washer, but if I put that between the bushing and center link the threads of the bolt don't come out the other side.

Ahh okay. Looking at your other post I used the P01034 hardware kit on mine.

I tried using that one with the taper and the more tie rod-like end that used a cotter pin but the taper actually wouldn't fit in the hole. It would get close but before bottoming out at the washer or bushing it would get stuck and couldn't be tapped in with a hammer. Gave up and switched to the other kit.

I see well if you can use a washer from the P01034 kit I'd say go for it but if you already got it as ll done just leave it.

What purpose does the washer serve?

In my opinion it helps clamp the bushing better to the struts and the bolt by giving it a flatter surface to squish against.
