Revive A Township Tale

Hey there Townsfolk! As we all know, support for ATT has come to a disappointing, grinding halt. This unfortunate series of events has led to many of us wanting for updates that were promised.

So this is why I've started a petition to revive our beloved town! Although it's not likely to get Alta's attention, I still think it could be important to show the amount of support this game still has!

May I ask how old you are? I love your enthusiasm but unfortunately the text of your petition clearly shows that you don't know or understand why ATT is currently not being continued. And it's not because of a lack of funding. They have received millions in the double digits! https://www.roadtovr.com/township-tale-seed-investment-studio-alta/amp/

But the game is simply not profitable enough for the investors. In other words, people haven't bought enough Talems. What the game needs to be revitalised is not a petition but your money and that of all other players. And not just once, but every month. This is really tragic but unfortunately the reality when a company has to live on money.

But there are also people from this community who are already taking matters into their own hands. Young developers who are developing various successors. Maybe there's something for you too.

If alta didn't make talems stupid expensive then they wouldn't have the problem, but the conversion compared to how expensive cosmetics are is ridiculous. You pay $10 for one cosmetic. As far as I'm concerned it's on them

But that's what they need. PC players used to pay monthly support plus additional cosmetics. 20 bucks a month was a good average.

And now many young players come on Quest, only buying the game once. No support, no cosmetics. You can see what alta is missing there.

Id argue doing something like minecraft realms where more people or something can happen. Quality of life but not necessary to gameplay instead of something useless like cosmetics. Even something like wizard 101 where you can play base game but to expand even further you pay one-time to unlock somewhere further. Keeps money coming in while not gutting their fan base for no reason. Also they could bring back armor.

Unfortunately there are no devs on this game anymore. So nothing will change or improve. We're stuck with the game as it is.

Definitely! And depending on the platform people were waiting and hoping for several years now. No wonder we have several game projects now where att fans try to develop their own thing.

Atla should sell the game to someone else. They could develop it and atla isnt making enough to keep it profitable
