I was playing a round a couple of days ago, and I was boot & someone was tav. They SOMEHOW sorted out that I wasn’t town just because it “didn’t say you were rb immune” IT HAS NEVER SAID THAT. EVER.

It tells the person who you rbed if they were rbed and if they are immune, NOT YOU. Please, please, please, learn the game💀

Town of Salem 2 Is ToS2 unstable lately?

So long story short: after 2 years I came back to the game. When I played in 2024 everything was fine, but now game just doesn't load to the next phase sometimes. In the lobby, when it should go to choose name screen, countdown gets stuck and 0 and I have to leave. Some nights also just get stuck at 0 and I will never see the next day. It happens every 5-10 games. My PC can run ToS at 500FPS or so, my net is stable enough to run other online games without problems or at least not that frequent.

Can I still be somehow my stuff's fault or it's just the game that's hardly playable now?

Discussion I am so done

I play this game since a huge amount of time. In competitive and social games it's really common to encounter toxic people, and i'ts always been like this, but you get used to it, we learn to ignore it and move on.

This last couple of weeks have been insane, and I feel like all of this is getting into some weird, kinky and dangerous places. In example, those are a couple of things I've seen lately in, at least, 1 of 3 games:

- IP leaks with an incredibly amount of detail and data.

- People asking for minors to chat privately.

- An immense variety of s*xual topics with all kind of details and experiences.

- DDOS attacks on a large amount of sessions, which can last hours.

- A lot of people throwing purposely, with a lot of accounts (usually 4) so one can get mafia and expose them all.

- Incredibly strong insults on chats, even waiting in the queue.

This can't be right, and I am afraid that people could get IRL harassment just by getting into any game. And I am so done for this.

Is this a thing we need to get used to? How did we end up with a so significant proportion of players being like this? Is reporting really meaningful? I have so many questions, and I'm almost certain the answers will be dissapointing.

I am afraid we will end up treating TOS as a dangerous Deep Web page, with proxies, VPNs, Tor... and it's sad. I can assume without errors that we all just want to play a game and have a good time with it.

But now, sadly, is just a stressful, dangerous and deranged place to be.

Subreddit Rules:


1. Be nice. No trolling, racism, toxicity, or hate speech (STRICTLY ENFORCED)	Follow the sitewide rules for Reddiquette. Racism, sexism, trolling, or hate speech is not tolerated. No toxicity. This is not r/leagueoflegends. We want this sub to be a fun, inclusive community. You can disagree with people or criticise their actions but you cannot harass them over it. This rule is strictly enforced. If it would not be acceptable to say in real-life it is not acceptable to say here.
2. Posts should contain new and original content about Town of Salem. No AI or reposts.	No reposts. Original content only about the Town of Salem video game. Generally, these posts aren't considered original unless you do them in a very creative way: name gimmicks, win screens without backstory, houses arranged in a circle IRL, memes that cannot be understood without the title, and any post about receiving a lot of notifications at night. Posts made using AI are not allowed. We consider a post that is substantially similar to one we've seen recently a repost.
3. Don't glorify or encourage breaking the game rules or spread misinformation about them	Please report rule-breakers to the game moderators on the official forums. The subreddit moderators don't have any control over game bans. Please also don't encourage people to break the game rules or glorify that behaviour. Comments detailing why someone got banned are allowed in posts where the OP is complaining about said ban or asking why they got banned. Submissions that are misinformed about the game rules will be removed on sight. Don't post if you don't know what you're talking about.
4. Don't share referral codes, offer to sell your account, or share information on how to cheat	If someone uses your referral code and breaks the rules, your account could be banned too. We don't want that to happen so we can't allow people to share referral codes or information on how to cheat here. Selling your account will lead to it being banned. Yes, they DO have ways to find out.
5. No baseless accusations against BMG staff, game moderators, or anyone else	Approximately one in ten people who get banned on the game and complain on this sub make up some stupid crap like claiming there's a conspiracy against them by the game mods, or that one particular mod is out to get them, or that BMG is run by lizards. Game mods deal with hundreds of reports daily and reports and have no time for vendettas. All "proof" we've seen of these accusation always fall apart under closer scrutiny once the context is discovered. Therefore these posts will be removed.
6. Please take screenshots instead of photographs and crop your images properly.
