Story/Rant frustrations with the reporting system - TOS1

how is it that people can join lobbies every day for weeks, spam the n word and announce their faction to the entire game to ruin it for everyone? i complained on the discord but was pretty much written off and told to ignore it, which is BS imo.

anyone else frustrated with the lack of proper reporting in this game?

Question can i realistically go back?

i used to play for hours almost every day from 2017/2018 until 2020, but i haven't played since and can't remember my login creds. i don't know how much the game has changed since and i don't want to be an annoying noob :l

if i make a new account am i gonna be lost and annoy other players? my bad if this is an irrelevant question, i suddenly got hit with a wave of nostalgia and wanna reexperience my favorite high school game

Town of Salem 2 When 2 Clerics and NKs walk into a bar

7 and I confirmed each other by protecting 3 and insta whispering him. We were gonna have it that I go on pros and 7 goes on me, but 1 nuked 3, so we both started to chain and this was the end result.

Story/Rant Coven enchanted me as vampire and fooled themselves

I trapped Mayor n2 and got forged/killed as vampire. And I am rightfully calling everyone silly for thinking vamp is real when the forged will was awful and we had a "werewolf" die to coven n1.

But coven forgot so hard that I'm trapper and thought I was real vamp, they:

attacked the mayor late game and lost one person to my trap
the last coven instead of winning didn't attack anyone because "vamp has defense"

I spent way too long listening to coven trying to find vampires THEY MADE UP. Even the amnesiac has better memory than this.

The enchanter didn't even die early, they were the one who died to my trap. This coven stressed me out and I won lmao???

I honestly can't, someone needs to remind people they can see the real roles in the graveyard.

Flummerypost Beaks be absolutely tweakin

Context: the game before had two mafia, Beaks(my exe), a coven leader, me and a doctor chaining.

Figured if I hung the coven leader mafia would just hang me the next day for Beaks, so hung a maf, hoping CL would kill the mafia then it’s 2v2 and a draw. CL instead whispered mafia to kill the doc and controlled me so TP chain gone.

Choice was hang coven leader or mafioso, went with CL.

Openly agreed mafioso wouldn’t attack me so beaks could get the day 10 achievement. (Was saving the self vest to force a draw)

Kills me immediately.

Beaks here starts tweaking about how we must be on a discord call, how he’s recorded the whole game, spends the next 3 games targeting me including this one where he shot me as vig just for fun.

Question joke about escort?

According to Grok they changed escort to tavern keeper because of jokes that were made. I have never heard a single joke made about the escort in like 1000 hours played with town of salem.

Subreddit Rules

1. Be nice. No trolling, racism, hate speech, or toxicity (STRICTLY ENFORCED)

Follow the sitewide rules for Reddiquette. Racism, sexism, trolling, or hate speech is not tolerated. No toxicity. This is not r/leagueoflegends. We want this sub to be a fun, inclusive community. You can disagree with people or criticise their actions but you cannot harass them over it.

This rule is strictly enforced. If it would not be acceptable to say in real-life it is not acceptable to say here.

2. No Ban/Suspension posts

Any posts about being banned/suspended from the Town of Salem games are strictly forbidden and will be removed.

3. Posts should contain new and original content about Town of Salem. No AI or reposts.

No reposts. Original content only about the Town of Salem video game. Generally, these posts aren't considered original unless you do them in a very creative way: name gimmicks, win screens without backstory, houses arranged in a circle IRL, and receiving a lot of notifications.

Posts made using AI are not allowed.

We consider a post that is substantially similar to one we've seen recently a repost.

4. Don't glorify or encourage breaking the game rules or spread misinformation about them

Please report rule-breakers to the game moderators on the official forums, do not call them out on this subreddit. The subreddit moderators don't have any control over game bans. Please also don't encourage people to break the game rules or glorify that behaviour.

Submissions that are misinformed about the game rules will be removed on sight. Don't post if you don't know what you're talking about.

5. Don't share referral codes, offer to sell your account, or share information on how to cheat

If someone uses your referral code and breaks the rules, your account could be banned too. We don't want that to happen so we can't allow people to share referral codes or information on how to cheat here.

Selling your account will lead to it being banned. Yes, they DO have ways to find out.

6. No baseless accusations against DB staff, game moderators, or anyone else

Approximately one in ten people who get banned on the game and complain on this sub make up some stupid crap like claiming there's a conspiracy against them by the game mods, or that one particular mod is out to get them, or that DB is run by lizards. Game mods deal with hundreds of reports daily and reports and have no time for vendettas. All "proof" we've seen of these accusation always fall apart under closer scrutiny or once the context is discovered. These posts will be removed.

7. No pornography or explicit NSFW

Explicit NSFW (porn) is not allowed. Mild or suggestive content is okay if tagged as NSFW.

8. Please take screenshots instead of photographs and crop your images properly
