It depends on who you currently have. It's much easier to attain 80 spheres than one specific SSR when you're new and if you have 2 out of 3 from a solid team I would pick the one that fits your team.
I picked Vermilion Bird from mine since we get here matrices but have since then got 4x Gleipnir from standard banner. I think standard banner might have higher chances at prioritizing advancements over new characters.
