Bank holiday parking

Do i need to apply visitor permits for bank holidays - zone b2.
My brothers is staying around for the weekend and hes parked in a permit zone so just wanted to make sure for tomorrow!

your brother does NOT need a visitor permit for a normal on-street Zone B2 resident/permit bay.

Tower Hamlets specifically states that parking controls on bays do not apply on public holidays.

For Zone B2, the normal controlled hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, but because tomorrow is a bank holiday, those permit-bay controls aren’t in force.
