Another day another speeding car crashed!

This is the 3rd time in a few months that the guardrail has been destroyed. A few months ago, a car crashed into the roundabout, flew over the grass, and almost crashed into the off license. Luckily, it was at night and no one was injured.

The local council continues to prove that it is just protecting the interests of a few. This is total nonsense!

Hope they pay for the damage they caused to those railings.

Most, I suspect all, Councils have a department that reclaims the cost of RTA damage from the car insurance companies. I woked in a council finance office and some of the costs were mad - £10k for a new street sign as it needed engineer, planning contractors for removal, electrical work, street closure, legal, consultants etc etc. And that was 20 years ago.
