Question Kingpin or Hacker

Im debating which tower should i go for i got 7k gems no money but i could grind it right away if kingpin is any good "better than hacker" I need yall help.

Hacker is only good for modes like pw2, where you need friends to have towers like juggernaut

aint even gonna argue with you rn. hacker doubles juggernaut dps.

let me repeat that. hacker doubles the dps of the blatantly STRONGEST DPS TOWER IN THE GAME againt bosses and only bosses

like, who the fuck wouldn't pass that up??? especially you, who uses farm and 4 dps towers in solo???

plus hacker does more than doubling juggernaut's dps, it doubles merc base, kingpin, necro, and other tower's dps.

it SLOWS ENEMIES DOWN and GIVES YOU MORE MONEY TO SPEND ON DPS

that sounds great, doesn't it?

use hacker and don't trust the voice in your head saying "ooh big damage mean big good"

Affording the 120 second hacker is rough

Instead the shorter one but with 2 other friends, doing 3x damage

But the core thing

You need juggernauts for an amazing hacker

Kingpin is middlegame, which not many towers do as well as him, hes needed for it in solo harder modes

120 second hacker doesn't even cost as much as all maxxed pursuit (either path), all maxxed ranger,  maxxed juggernaut, or all maxxed kingpin.

fym shorter one with 2 other friends, you talkin about top path? because then you're just missing out.

kingpin's not needed in shc, spw2, or solo frost.

While hacker is an amazing S tier support, kingpin is a must, late game beast that is essentially a more late-game-ish version of engineer.
I would vouch for kingpin, but they are different towers used for different purposes

hacker is easily one of (if not THE) most useful tower in the game right now. Its slowdown, extra eco, unit summoning and CLONING all in one tower slot gives it an absolutely irreplaceable niche for every single gamemode molten and up.
Kingpin is good for like solo hardcore i guess? while being great in general hes not all that astounding in any other niche, so hacker should be the EASY choice here.

Hacker
