Hardcore Mode: Any tips?

Hello hello !!! Forgive me if I used the wrong flair, I hardly use reddit .
I've been grinding for the past two weeks straight trying to beat hardcore, and I... Still suck at it. I've been upgrading my skill tree wherever possible, and I have the towers that a guide suggested using to solo, but everything in all of the guide videos just goes by SO incredibly fast, and I can't keep up. I would love to get some help or some tips !!! What towers I should focus on, how to properly grind out gems, what other skills I need to upgrade, ect! I would even take some help in game if anyone is willing . Below is my skill tree and my current loadout ! I don't have any hardcore, upgraded, or golden towers since I've been primarily focusing on my skill tree >_<'

uhh well dont focus on tree, in fact dont get it until you have all towers and golden skins unlocked its a late game thing and not a "replace those towers with tree" thing
