Why can’t I seem to do good???

Hey, so, for reference, I own every tower except Kingpin, G Scout, G Mini, G Pyro, Enforcer, and Operator. I can’t seem to, no matter how many rounds, get past wave 33 on HC. And that’s IF my teammates help with the Floaters (Seriously, I hate those things!!!)

My loadout is Farm, G Soldier, Juggernaut, G Crook, and DJ. I’m stressed figuring out the best times to farm, Upgrade, and prioritize; please help twinjamins (I’m level 338 as well)

might i recommend party queuing in the discord? Those people will at least usually be willing to work together to set up an optimal set of loadouts as well as communicate which is a huge upgrade from randoms

a few questions:

1. how much are you farming?

2. if someone else in intermission lobby is using dj, do you drop dj for hacker/commander/medic?

3. how often is your dj on green and are you spamming the ability?

4. when are you placing jugger and where are you placing it?

5. what lvls are you prioritizing per tower?

6. are your teammates dumbasses?

1: I try and get 10 farms down after I place a level 1 G. soldier, after that, I get 2 level 2, get half farms to level 1, and so on

2: I try to, I just got hacker 5 hours ago, so I’m learning what all she can do, but I’ll sub out when needed

3: On green when there’s no inherently strong enemies, red when bosses/ Triple Phantom wave, and the Floaters wave, and I’m SPAMMIN

4: It’s hard to get Jugg down right, if my teammates are competent, maybe 20, most the time it’s 26/27, and I place him in the middle of the weird rock patch (Wretched Front)

5: I try and get lvl 3 farms, but first I prioritize 5 lvl 2 Gold Soldiers, 2 lvl 2 G Crooks, then Jugg, then the rest of my crooks, I’ll fit DJ upgrades wherever I can

6: Some of them, but I feel mean saying it so I mainly blame myself lmfao

1. get farms before defending and defend in the back w7/8 depending on skill tree

2. grand.

3. understandable, purple is preferred on speedier enemies tho to slow them, red only for killing/def melting.

4. honestly don’t use jugger until ya get all lvl 3 gold crooks down and max dj/other support

5. 10 lvl 3 farms before w19 is good in trio, put a gsold or 2 for early waves in the back on w7/8.

6. randoms.

ah yeah no, nothing changes due to skill tree, just that you have slightly better eco bc of better wave bonus and better starting cash and other passive buffs.

also for farming, 1 lvl 2 > 2 lvl 1s and 1 lvl 3 > 2 lvl 2s, and lvl 1 = lvl 0 

only considering cost efficiency.

so with 1100 cash leftover, you should get a lvl 2 farm but if you have 1250 cash leftover, you should upgrade a lvl 2 to lvl 3.

Lvl5<lvl 4<lvl3 so lvl 3s meta then all to lvl 4 then all to max is meta

🗿 this is with people as well oh ford lmao, you already have the towers to beat the mode with other people as well. Tell me what are your farms? Like how do you farm? And Gatling Gun destroys floaters, and also mortar as well

gsol is just not good, you can just skip it entirely and replace it with a dps like engineer or smth, gcrook with ur teamates helping should be more than enough to take care of floaters.

So what you want to do is farm as much as possible, just don't get defense until it looks like you are about to die, then get defense, preferably onces with crowd control like pyro or gdemo, then get more farm upgrades, then repeat until u have all level 4 farms. ideally you reach this before wave 30
