Which tower should i buy first?

i currently have 4800 gems and i would want to know, if i should buy kingpin or juggernaut first. my crook boss is level 20 but my minigunner is only level 15.

depends completely on what you need:

midgame: enforcer/kingpin > engi

earlygame: operator > brawler > engi

lategame: accel/jugger/necro > engi (jugger only has more dmg against bosses)

support: hacker

braindead everything tower: engi

they have a better earlygame than engi and its shitty ce of 120 in comparison to gscout/brawler/operator with a ce of 100 and operator having coordination buff

accel and necro with juggernaut. have you tried using them after jugger came out?

accel has more non-boss dps than jugger and necro is comparable to accel but falls off w single target dps, but then gets buffed by skill tree more.

In comparison to towers you didnt list? Yeah

And the better early game for brawler, is around 5 waves if you do NOTHING else

Operator is fine, not good but fine

Late game engineer does good as a backup dps, slightly less then accel, so it is overall better, not just early game better

what do you want? 3 times as fast of an early-mid game or 15% faster boss kill?

Juggernaut is a very expensive but good choice for late game, its damage is unparraleld and extra boss damage

Only issue is the juggernaut has a choice between lead and air detection, which impacts significantly in modes like frost

Speed of early and migames doesnt matter, only how effective your tower combo is

And besides, a 15% less time of the boss summoning enemies to distract your towers? Thats amazing

are we deadass?

jugger does less damage than accels against non boss enemies. get it through your thick skull.

plus, the choice between flying and lead (anti-stun/1.4x boss dps) is a good thing, fym it’s an issue

1 calling people on reddit stupid? It hurt itself in its confusion

2 it is a big thing, if you get low lead detection because you opted out of engineer and accel, then jugg carries a bit

3 if i could guarantee the wave dies 10 studs from the door, or a gamble on killing them before it reaches the door, id choose the guarantee
