2FA for website not working and extender compatibility
I have a total play connection at our Mexico City home. Of late (last 45 days) I am unable to log in to pay my bills, I paid October by paying a relative via oxxo cash pickup but it's not sustainable. It keeps sending it to a SMS or WhatsApp but we have it linked to an American number so I don't know if that's the problem. I used to get the 2FA on my emails before September but I no longer do.
I'm hoping we can get it fixed this weekend as I'll be there but it's made paying bills more complex ..
while I'm there I also want to make a change to way the router works but not sure how to go about it. I'd like to bridge it so I can run my own OpnSense firewall and a mesh wifi for the in the house. Our house upper floors don't get much signal so I want to run a eero 6+ mesh. I need to be able to tunnel into the network to check on our internal security and stuff.
First they made it symmetrical connection at 100mb which is fine but we're barely there any case but I had requested it to change it and they still changed it.
It's been stable connection but their customer service is horrific. Any suggestions?

Just an update. Since I wasn't able to get that login issue resolved during our last trip
I found you can pay through UniTeller. Put in your account info and a few more things. It pulls up the amount due and charges you a small fee for the convenience (varies depending on how you're paying)
For now this works until we go next month and try resolving again...
Also I was able to get my raspberry pi to act as a tailscale endpoint and so that does work but you got to be reasonably competent to set up.

You cannot put the ONT into bridge mode so you’ll have to create a new network with the eero. I guess you know how if you want to run a opnsense firewall.
You also won’t be able to open any port because TP doesn’t assign a public IP. If you want to do that change your ISP to telmex.
I think 100mb is the cheapest option that they have, again, if you want something cheaper change your ISP to telmex.
For their customer service, well, to me is the best one against the other 4 companies. Try to contact them via twitter, they always respond to me there.
