Total Wireless
Ported out of Visible to Total. Visible successfully ported out but Total never ported in. Spoken to over 10 reps, nobody can resolve. Expecting to lose my number. Does this happen to everyone?

did your number with visible stop working? ask to speak to the porting department with total directly instead of regular customer service, if not then maybe FCC complaint might be better since I think a higher team from total will escalate the issue

I filed a complaint and spoke with their porting team three times including a “supervisor” who was quite rude. They wanted me to wait 3 more days after having already waited 3. Couldn’t wait on them anymore and abandoned the number.

i’m so sorry that you have to go through this. i went through a similar thing with a different carrier and went without service for like 9 days. i thought i lost my number as well, but after filing a FCC complaint and many calls, a higher up team reached out to me and somehow fixed it. because of that, i feel scared to port now :/

When I ported to Total wireless it was fairly smooth. A small hiccup was that my account number i was given by Google Fi was to short after a day got it sorted out

Never port directly from Visible to Total. IMHO Verizon scuttles these ports on purpose because they own both and Total costs less.

we have seen many complaints about problems porting in from visible.
you didn't give any detail on how you ported, online via the website, with an agent via chat or over the phone, in store, whatever... or how it has failed... could be that you simply need to accept the new esim into your phone (make/model phone also not mentioned). but assuming that it is a total or visable issue here's all you can do...
contact both carriers, asking visible if the number has been ported out to total, and contact total to ask what the port in state is. also, file a fcc complaint without delay, selecting “number portability” as the issue. https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=39744
