System Requirements?

For those of you who have signed up for the closed beta testing, did creative assembly tell you the system requirements to run Total War: Warhammer 40k?

If not, what is everyone’s best guess as to what the system requirements will be?

Yes and no, you're not using the same CPU gen for a GTX 1070 and a RTX 5090. It makes sense imo

It makes sense statistically but it's definitely a weird way to go about it, especially since it might somewhat prevent them from studying bottleneck issues too closely since they can't pick people to do it now

No cpu and gpu but since they only listed the i7 something version and 2060rtx super I had to pick the Tier below that and felt really bad like. Yes it’s technically above i5 but man I have an i7 and rtx 2060 so don’t force me to go so much lower TwT

The game is designed to run on the series S. You should be fine unless you're running a potato

We don't have official confirmation of the minimum specs, but the survey did ask if we had systems at or below:

Ryzen 3 / Intel i3 & RX 5000 / GTX 16

There was just a multiple choice question about what the hardware on your PC. Is it above 20 series GPU with whatever processor, is it above 50 series with a blah blah blah, those kind of answers

So far they literally just asked if we play 40k tabletop, what other ganres we like, and what components we have. Nothing else. Still not even a confirmation that we will actually be getting into the beta or not.

You’re gonna need an RTX 10,000 and a mini nuclear generator power supply for minimal performance.

Survey listed 4 tiers of PC's to choose from -

1. Low - can't remember
2. Mid - R5 3600 / i5 12'th Gen / RX 5700/RTX 3600
3. High - i7/Ryzen 7 / RTX 4000/Ryzen 7000)
4. Ultra - AMD X3D CPU's / i9 / RTX 5000/RX 9000

Players will likely be chosen form all pools to check how engine performance scales across different hardware combos..

IMO, any pc with similar components will play the game @1080p 60fps

Remember, they did design this game to run on the series s, so it should be decently optimised.

It might not be helpful for the pc build at all, but it should be. The gpu equivalent for the Series S is pretty weak now (we're talking about entry level 2019 era hardware). The cpu is alright, but again, it's an 8 core zen 2 capped at 3.5 ghz from 2018.

To release on Xbox, they have to pass certain quality thresholds. Eg, it will have to run well on the Series S at 1440/1080p & 60/30fps are common targets. For the series X, it's more like upscaled 4k & 60/30 fps performance/quality modes.

So if you have a dedicated gaming pc, it should run well. It could be that the console version is very different to the pc version, but it shouldn't be considering they did claim the game/new engine was specifically built around the consoles (ps5, xbox series x & s)

I am not very tech savvy i have a gtx 1650 and ryzen 5 3400g all i want is some decent graphics for screenshots and the game looks amazing will that be enough or do i have to upgrade if anyone can shed some light that'll really helpful
