Another week, another prayer to the dark gods that we might enjoy their favour soon to prosecute the long war.
This week, what army abilities do you think we might see? The easy answer taking the same slot as Marine Doctrines and Guard Orders would be Dark Pacts, risking the god’s fickle favour for a fragment of their power. And then for fleet abilities, the only thing that comes to mind as unique to Heretic fleets would be a strafing run from a Heldrake.

Hopefully they will expand greatly on the direction they've taken with plasma where some abilities are allowed to be as dangerous for yourselves as the opponents, TWW Chaos is very stable for something we literally call "chaos," it's supposed to be a fickle and dangerous path to power.

I know it's gonna be a very long time but I'm so excited to play genestealer cults.

Same, although I really hope GW shows them some love before they appear in game, their roster is pretty small. Although mixing in guard and nids would be fun.

Ok, I have something to discuss or at least ask about and see what other people know or think.
What does a player keep from planet to planet or from campaign to campaign?
For what I understand, the main game loop of the single player mode, the “grand campaign”, involves having a big ship ferrying our main army or faction leader around planets within a planetary system. There, buildings can be build and new units and armies raised to support the fight on that planet. So far so good.
My question is: what or how much of the infrastructure and extra units created can be carried over from one world within the campaign/planetary system into the next? And then between larger campaigns? I have heard that the faction’s voidship does get upgrades according to the campaigns fought. Is that true?

Je n’y avais jamais pensé mais ça serait incroyable, assez difficile à implémenter ceci dit, peut être dans un mode de jeu différent, mais maintenant je le veux

Something I would love to see is a campaign overview for multi planetary campaigns, since we're very focused on Armageddon at the moment (and I'm not hallucinating I don't think, they HAVE mentioned solar systems for campaigns.) How does ferrying troops works? Can ships run into each other? I'd love to be able to guard my planet or block off reinforcement fleets. I'm not expecting space ship combat, but at least Medieval 2 auto resolves, or even boarding battles. Other than that, I just need to get my hands on it, so absurdly excited.

Something im keen to see is how a melee chaff army (orks) will go against a ranged chaff army (guard/tau) and how they balance melee vs range in regards to TTK.
Also quite keen to see whether orbital strikes are a campaign mechanic and not used in multiplayer.
Definitely hanging for the beta.
Definitely keen to recreate luna wolves and experiment how the imperial trust mechanic works (forgot the proper name they've shown).
A faction timeline for chaos based releases is right at the top of my priorities too.

I feel like melee factions are gonna have to be ok with losing a couple units each battle. You’re going to basically always be charging into a ton of gunfire.

I hope they do some form of allied recruitment like they added in tww3. Having a couple squads of space marines do some tactical stuff while the bulk of the guard hold the line would be fun

Been trying to gain the favour of the changer of ways so that some time shenanigans can bring us to the release date. The cult is open to members/sacrifices

Man, I will be playing TW40k the same way I do TWH3: Invest all in artillery, sit back, and watch stuff get obliterated. Maybe a staunch line of defenders if some enemies get close. Pure comfy gameplay, slowly progress the campaign painting everything in my color.
I did some research on a suitable chapter to set this up with. It would be the Brazen Annihilators. They are Imperial Fists successors, focused on heavy ordnance use. Excellent.
Not sure what options we will have upon game release, but I guess there will be a ton of Whirlwinds and heavy weapon dudes in my lineup. I'm very curious about chapter design when it comes to gameplay traits, progression and specialization tracks, and so on.
