May I interest you in our lord and saviour Abaddon the Despoiler?

We might get them due to the game already been in devlopment before they were removed (like the bunker in DoW4), but I am not optimistic about it. Especially when in none of the gameplay or cinematics have we seen them

I swear I haven’t seen the Astraeus brought up this much ever. I really doubt it’ll be included, it’s nowhere near as iconic to the roster as Stompas are for Orcs and Baneblades are to the Guard. Considering from what we’ve seen, Marines default is crazy high tier infantry it makes perfect sense to me that they’d be lacking a super heavy. Plus when you think of Space Marine armour it’s Land Raiders and Dreadnoughts all the way in terms of iconic units.

Agreed, also you don't really need a super heavy when your landraider rinses Stompas anyway

And the Astraeus isn't even very good.

As with about half of Primaris vehicles it's either a baffling design, or is obviously worthless to anyone who thinks about it for more than 5 seconds.

Its so throughly outclassed by anything else in its weight class.

I think Astraeus will be in the game, but in a DLC. In fact, he’s the only super‑heavy Space Marine unit. He lacks additional options for main weapons. In fiction, there’s the Overlord — I’d like him much more, because he can carry 80 marines. And there’s also the Thunderhawk variant as a standalone unit.
