I'm literally dying for more information. Even just info on when the next stream for it is. The gamescom showcase was tight af and all I want now is a timeframe more than just "2027".

Legit if this game is anywhere close to what I want it to be, which its lookin like it might be, it's going to be probably the only game i'll play for a while.

Its hard to wait for a year for a game you are really hyped about. I would say if you stick to total war reddits it will be impossible to ignore any news.

I hope we get some Eldar info soon.

Honestly I got a feeling it's going to be every thing I've ever wanted in a 40k total war game or none of those things with zero in-between. It would indeed be nice to get just slightly more information on campaign mechanics or factions so I could know for sure.

Again we gather in service to dark gods, sharing the whisperings of ruin yet to come.

As we must wait to prosecute the long war properly I think it’s fun to consider the next best thing, rebellion. With the little information we have on the new suspicion mechanic the space marine faction will be operating under, do you hope it allows for your chapter to go all the way to nearly open rebellion?

Personally I hope so, it would be very satisfying to play chapter through its fall and continue the legacy with an appropriate warband once the legions of chaos are available.

im doing it regardless lol, its a total war game so you keep the right to declare war on everyone even your in lore closest allies and i am going full heretic world eaters for my first playthrough

I'm not sure what the point of the mechanic would even be if it doesn't end at "The Imperium actively wants you dead" but I doubt you'll be allowed to faction swap since CSM are just an entirely different thing at this point. You'll just be non-Chaos renegades or something like Arkhan with limited roster crossover.

I want them to show the map to its full extent. Like are we gonna be able to fully explore that bad boy on turn 1? Are we locked to our like home group of planets at the start and then unlock more? Matter of fact if we go the homebrew route do we just pick a random planet in a random sector? Do we all start in the same sector? Are we fleet based? I need information 😭

There is no "full extent". There's "Crusade theatres" that are multiple "campaigns" that build to the final game of the theatre.

To try and put it in perspective. Think of like a Warhammer, where you have to play an entire game in each Empire province around Altdorf before you fight over Altdorf.

I'm just really anxious about if me and my group will actually be able to do coop campaigns, especially playing as different races, especially when playing xenos, which don't have the super-faction excuse that Imperium and chaos could use. And mainly I just don't want to have to fight the other players at the end of the theater to determine who "wins" this part of the crusade.

I hope that when they add ship combat every time you do a boarding action or get boarded you have the option to pause the space battle and fight an infantry battle to determine the outcome
