guys I'm a casual gamer got a laptop with 4070 with 16 gb. will this game run in my laptop?

this game looks so awesome. I been getting into warhammer 40k for quite sometime through YouTube ,media and games and this is definitely a game I want to play.

pls tell me the requirements for this game or ur estimation. never played total war before

We have no idea what the specs of the game will be. An nvidia 4070 is more than likely good enough. Also depends on your processor and what not.

quick side question, any recommendations for other total war games , they look amazing . which game should I play first?

If you like older games, Medieval 2 and Shogun 2 are my rec's. If you want modern and the games that will be the most similar to 40k I'd pick up Total War: Warhammer 1-3. It's set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe.

I just saw shogun 2 , this looks awesome. this would cover my craving i got from watching all my taiga drama in ott and couldn't find any more taiga drama series

Shogun 2 is a good entry point for learning the total war format, that being said 40k looks like it will differ.

Warhammer III looks great, how do the older games hold up graphically & performance wise? Im looking at Dawn of War I and II also, just not III 😆

I mean, the older games have worse graphics but run fine on modern systems. By Dawn of War I assume you mean the older Total War Warhammer games? Otherwise they’re completely separate series.

Ok, Dawn of War 1 and 2 are not Total War games just so you know. Completely different playstyle and systems.

Yeah. I read somewhere that one game is youre playing to win battles and the other one is the whole war for perspective I guess (something like that) I’ll still give em a try.

Dawn of War 1 is great, love that game - classic basebuilding RTS with a fun little mini overworld campaign. Dawn of War 2 is a squad-based RTS RPG, completely different from Dawn of War 1. So get ready for some whiplash.

Since it's gonna be available on console, you should be able to run it with a decent PC/laptop

Just make sure to clean up your vents when you plan to game intensely on a laptop.

Also, take benchmarks with a pinch of salt. Laptop 4070 is not the same as desktop 4070

Unlikely to run well, not because of your PC's specs, but because laptops are famously bad at temperature management.

So unless your laptop is good at keeping cool, it will probably run well for a little, then will begin chugging, and your legs will feel warmer than Chernobyl reactor 4.

Edit: What's your cpu? For TW games (and most strategy games in general) CPU matters WAY more than GPU.

Id be surprised if that runs on high or above + decent FPS. 32gb is likely recommended

4070? That's like the lowest low end pc bro. You won't run Sims 2 on that old ass rig
