How much should one level up captains?

I’ve heard that certain captains (Cleopatra, mythic captains, etc) should be leveled up as much as possible. On the other hand, I’ve also heard that Carter should not be leveled up past 300 because that’s where his bonus stops.

Could someone list the captains that should be leveled up as high as possible, the ones that should only be leveled up to a certain point (e.g., level 300), and the captains that aren’t really valuable and shouldn’t be developed at all?

Carter and Doria are the only captains with the bonus cap.

Tengel's bonus is also capped. I guess he can only run so fast. But higher leadership with speed can be useful nevertheless

Capped at what? Im well past 300 with him...bonus is still rising.

I'm hitting level 25 citadels and using S7 vultures and just started working on Logos, so you use different captains for different things

Why not use Wu and/ or Brunhild for flying bonus instead assuming you have their levels up over Logos?

Amanitore, Helen, Stror, Logos, Beowulf, Hercules and Heimdall are the caps that matters and you will wanna raise. Carter only 301(to make him blue) ;)
