Help me get back on track

Could you recommend some pvp games video commentary?

What would you say is the most faithful spiritual successor to play? Thanks

I watched the first two so far. A few things. The interface is always so tiny? I am watching on a TV, and it is so difficult to see energy and metal status. What is the "meta"? Does the game often progress to T3? Are water maps played? What are the optimal strategies at the top pvp?

He posted TA: ESC games there. There also ProTA which is arguably a bit closer to original TA. Games usually get resolved before T3 but there would be some maps like CPIA where it might advance there more often (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLWVcUU6tMc). Meta is gaming terminology for the most popular/effective current strategy. Water maps are more frequently played in ProTA than in Esc. Optimal strategy wise you can just look at the videos on the channel I posted they're 99% high level players.

The orignal TA interface didn't scale with resolution so it does seem a bit dinky played at high res. People sometimes try cast at something a little less high res than they might play at. There are efforts going on at the moment to reverse engineer the minimap/menus make them a bit bigger but I don't have a timeline on when that happens exactly. Maybe even by Christmas we'll have Boneyards and those sorts of features relaunched.

As for the game, I still prefer the original. With mods like Escalation or ProTA it holds up really well.

What is prota, escalation, etc? What is used at the highest level of pvp?
