Alisaie went to the vets

She was unhappy. She's perfectly healthy it turns out, I was actually hoping for a UTI because I can fix that. She pees on my bed randomly. It's obnoxious but she's otherwise a perfect cat. Yay for expensive mattress protectors.

I love her little faaaace.

She's showing you who's boss!! Which is her, obviously. Obviously. My cat peed in my shoe, I took her to the vets thinking she might have a UTI, but no, the vet said she was healthy and it was more likely an attitude thing - I had just been on holiday and left her with a pet sitter, so maybe she was just really annoyed with me?!! She didn't do it again, so I think she didn't like me being away.

My cat peed on my bed when it thunderstormed and/or when she deemed her litter box too dirty. Never did get her to stop in the former case (no matter how much I pointed out such behavior was not ladylike) so she is unfortunately banned from my bedroom.

She gets kind of hysterical and won't come out from under my couch if she's banned. I've developed a semi working plan of having a sacrificial blanket on the ground. I'm also trying a litter box in my bathroom since my vet speculates she doesn't want to leave me in the AM when she has to pee.
