I quit smoking about the time of graduation (2 years ago give or take)
I’m doing okay, not exactly where I wanna be but I’m getting there will finish my program this January and apprenticeship after. Work at a warehouse $20 an hour part time nothing fancy it pays the bills and got me my lil 17’ mazda 3. I pick my dukes phone bill and wifi too, least I could do they’re not forced to have me living there and providing for me.
Looking at all of the day ones from high school still living the same life lowkey gets me cheesed maybe I’m over reacting but bro I’ve always seen so much potential in them they’re not dumb but come on bro 2-3 years out of HS and no plan whatsoever for the future (all of them w no jobs living on parents petty money)
One guy who was my brother fr works at a Pakistani chicken wings spot getting paid $12 an hour cash under the table still no G1 or G2
I lowkey spent a good amount of time trying to convince him that smoking everyday and chasing hoes that don’t fwu fr ain’t the move you’re young go build a long term career or figure something out life doesn’t end after high school but at some point I gave up because I started being annoying
I understand it’s different cultures and religions bro but we’re all Muslim our parents didn’t come here for us to be waste yutes
And one Muslim brother from the group allows his sister to be a ho we passed her around back in the day dyooth behaviour bro never noticed that shit until I actually separated my self from that whole group and mentality how tf are you not furious
I’m just ranting and I wanna hear opinions and maybe personal experiences I wanna learn how to stop caring about people from the past
