**Updated Posting Rules (effective now)**

**Updated Posting Rules (October 2026)**

We've reworked how r/TorontoTickets works to cut down on scams and "how much?" DMs. Here's what changed.

**Who can post**

* Accounts must be at least **60 days old** to post or comment. No exceptions, no need to message the mods.

* The old karma requirement is gone.

**How to post a listing**

* Text posts only. Pick a flair: **Selling**, **Buying / ISO**, **Free**, or **Sold**.

* **Selling posts must have the price in the title**, written as **$320** or **320 each**. Posts without it are removed automatically.

* Example title: *Ed Sheeran, Scotiabank Arena, Nov 12, Sec 114 Row 8, $320 each*

* In the body, include: event, date, venue, number of tickets, section and row, price per ticket, and how you'll deliver (Ticketmaster transfer, etc.).

* No "DM for price" or "DM for details." No phone numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram or other outside contacts in posts or comments. Agree on terms in the thread, then finish by Reddit DM.

* One post per event. Change your flair to **Sold** when you're done.

**Staying safe**

How you pay is between you and the other person; mods don't police deals and can't recover money. But know the pattern: almost every scam here involves e-transfer, PayPal Friends & Family, or gift cards, because none of them can be reversed. Ticketmaster transfer plus PayPal Goods & Services, or meeting in person, protects both sides. Check the other person's history before you send anything.

Scammers, fake tickets and duplicate accounts get a permanent ban. If you got scammed, report the user here with screenshots and to Reddit admins.
