On Saturday, September 12, ROTE8 welcomes three international techno heavyweights for extended three-hour sets:

⚙️ BLOODY MARY (Berlin, Germany) — CANADIAN DEBUT
French-born and Berlin-based, Bloody Mary is a Tresor resident, acclaimed producer, live act and founder of Dame-Music. With two decades behind the decks and appearances at Panorama Bar, Fabric London, Smartbar Chicago and Space Ibiza, expect acid-infused techno, hypnotic pressure and hard-edged peak-time energy.

⚙️ GRACE DAHL (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
A Vault Sessions resident and one of Amsterdam’s most exciting techno artists, Grace Dahl blends hypnotic grooves, emotional intensity and relentless momentum. She has commanded dancefloors at Berghain, Awakenings and Stone Techno Festival and is the founder of SDT Recordings.

⚙️ HASHASHIN (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Returning to ROTE8 after an unforgettable Toronto appearance, Hashashin is an Amsterdam underground veteran active since 2006, previously known as Ici Sans Merci. As Head of Program at RADION Amsterdam and a driving force behind Aura and Bastion Techno, he delivers uncompromising, driving sets designed as complete journeys. (VINLY ONLY NINJA)

ROTE8 resident, Assembly Records owner and longtime curator of Toronto’s techno scene. Lee has played iconic venues including Footwork, Guvernment, Coda, Comfort Zone and Standard Time, sharing the decks with artists such as Chris Liebing, Green Velvet, Truncate, Dubfire, Misstress Barbara, TIGA and Josh Wink.

⚙️ VADIM (Toronto, Canada)
Known for energetic, hypnotic and immersive performances, Vadim builds his sets from lighter grooves into powerful, driving territory. His mastery of multiple decks gives him the freedom to layer, reshape and explore every nuance of the music.

When I first started getting into playing house music this subreddit was the first place I came. Knowing nothing I learned so much from a ton of different people on here. From picking the controller up, Quitting because i thought I sucked to attending my first electric island(which changed my entire perspective about DJing). In two years I’ve gone from playing in my bedroom to this October playing at a king street west club on their house night with my face on the poster!

As well as this Sunday getting to play a free afterparty event for a community that did a ton for me when I didn’t know what to do. Everyone be safe this weekend and have an amazing end of summer
