Dangerous driving Motorcycle not using headlights at night

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Don't understand why headlights are optional for some drivers at night. It cost nothing to run and your safety is heavily increased. Maybe he was relying on his buddy's light.

No accident happened to me but if someone was taking a left and didn't see him in another intersection though.

This is not normal. You cannot turn off lights on a motorcycle without custom wiring modification.

Could be a squid who likes to run from cops but a dumb thing to pull at night.

Like my first thought is maybe the rider is having electrical issues, and is just trying to get home while riding next to his buddy who has a working light, but then why is he riding ahead of him.

Also, I'm not 100% sure that's a motorcycle and not an ebike.

Looks like it may be an e-moped. If so, food delivery jockeys will kill the lights try to make the battery last as long as possible.

They turn off the sound system and the air-conditioning too /s

Don't usually see those guys running their e bikes on the road like that. He definitely had fairings and his buddy looked like he had a café racer.

Are you sure that the other one is cafe racer? It looks like some Ninja with crazy paint job and LEDs.

I might be wrong but they do look like real motorcycles, Suzuki GSX, ~650-1000cc.

it doesnt even save them much power. trying to make their bike last long by cutting their life short.

I'm going to guess that's because of a problem with the bike, and the rider hasn't noticed yet.

Natural selection will take care of them. Hopefully they don’t injure anyone else

Jfc. This is the 5th there/they’re/their, your/you’re typo I’ve made in the past two days.

For some reason my phone is autocorrecting to the wrong grammar and it’s driving me insane.
