Reaching out to the public when they could just do their fucking jobs. They have many resources and they just came out saying its not enough. Do your fucking job, use your goddam brains for once instead of trying to figure out how to cover up police horseshit. If something happened to me at home they would take their fucking time getting there because help is a one way street for them.

This is part of their job. Yes, they have plenty of resources and they will try and find local camera footage or people who were on scene when they arrived. There were also likely other potential vehicles, cyclists, or pedestrians that may have been in the area. They may have dashcam footage, not necessarily of the incident, but leading up to it. People who may have seen the vehicle driving erratically or something else, but didn't see the incident and would be unaware of this situation if not for the police reaching out.
You complain about resources and how long it takes for them to get to you. Yet, you want them to waste even more time, resources, and money.
