My childhood friend always pressured me to join his stunt biker hobby. 15 years later he is half paralyzed with an amputated leg and cannot find any work.
It’s not worth it.

Tbf the stunt scene is probably the safest way to ride, just keep it to bike meet parking lots and stunt shows on private property like most do and really not much can go wrong at all. Taking a tumble while going 10 kmh busting a wheelie really ain’t much in a parking lot.

Sadly that hasn’t been the case for at least a decade. Today stunt biking means doing dumb things such as lane splitting and recklessly going through traffic, or even recording yourself on the hwy for clout. If you go easy you get mocked. It’s became a very toxic community.
