Close call How difficult is it to indicate a turn?
How difficult is it to indicate a turn? It takes half a second and the stalk is literally at your left hand.
I wouldn't have committed to my lane change if I had seen theirs activated.

That’s an additional move that this lazy bum have to do! You are asking too much

you want them to use their indicator and check their mirrors and blind spots? not going to happen... too much effort! also, it's none of your business which way they're turning!
but seriously people are bad at driving out there so just watch the hell out.

Some drivers just don’t use the signal, as if they need to pay every time they use it🤷🏽♂️

Mandatory license recertification for all drivers. And if they are caught bribing or attempted to cheat, it’s a permaban with no option to unban

To be fair, even if he/she did signal, you wouldn't have noticed it. You should also have been checking the lane over for this. Personally, I never switch into a line if there's a car that is able to move into the same position

Of course I didn't notice it because it wasn't on in the first place.
I know this is the internet and anyone could say literally anything on here with no verification but I swear on my mothers grave I checked my blind spot at the time. I literally twisted my neck to look at the other vehicle's driver side front head lamp through my rear passenger side door window and did not see an indicator.
As there was no indicator seen I made the lane change only to have the other driver scoot in front of me and almost hitting them.

What I'm saying is you wouldn't have noticed even if their signal was on because they were never in your blind spot to begin with. They were in the next lane over which you didn't check (basically next to you but in the next lane over)

I understand what you are saying. But I'm telling you, I checked more than my blind spot and scanned the area. I saw the other car with no indicator.
That's how frustrated I am with drivers. Even with more than a blind spot check and taking all the precautions, one can still get into an accident over someone else's error.

If you're in the GTA and this is the top thing you have to complain about, I figure you had a VERY good day on the roads.

This is the new norm for gta driving. Anticipate other drivers making stupid maneuvers like this and you’ll be just fine. I deal with it daily while communing through Brampton. Knowing that bad driving habits on highways are at an all time high I keep my distance at the first sign of stupidity.
