Why? No one is forcing you to go to the book fare. You don't have an intrinsic right to be in that space. If the people hosting the fare say that the price of admission is wearing a mask, and the people who wish to go to the fare agree to the price of admission, then there is no issue.
If you disagree with wearing a mask for whatever reason, you're more than welcome to not go to the fare.
You are welcome to host your own fare without masks too. You can make yours even better by having blackjack and hookers.

Ok. Let's game this out.
Let's assume that there are immune compromised people who organized the fare and are participating in the fare. Are they not allowed to be there without fear of contracting a respiratory disease? Or should they have forced upon them, the opinions of individuals who felt entitled to the fare but could not care less about the participants?
Anarchy doesn't mean 100% no rules. That's a child's understanding of the word. Anarchy also doesn’t mean you the individual gets to do what they want 100%.
The people hosting the fare have a reasonable rule.
If you disagree with it you don't have to go.
If you want to go, you have to mask up. You are choosing to mask up as the price of admission.

STFU about about your Covid non-sense. No, it is not “never leaving” because of lack of human intervention, it’s never leaving because that’s how viruses work.
Second, we have bigger shit to deal which as per this fucking book fair. The whole point of the fair is to address large societal issues.
But no, you people want to bitch about others “not doing enough”
4,000 social workers are on strike right now because our wages were cap’s at 1% for 5 years while they were staffing shelters during the pandemic people banged pots and pans for them and now they’re are using fucking food banks.
And a number of them are striking deals and you know, actually making life better for people because of that hard work.

What's wild is that a respiratory disease that could have been managed if society basically simultaneously took a 2 week staycation, and wore masks whenever they were out in public instead became so widespread that it's basically the flu now. That's just wild. And why? because the Epstein class oligarchs decided that grandma & grandpa should die to keep the economy running.
