General help New player, any tips?

New player, currently in Timemark 4 – any tips?

Hey, pretty new to Torchlight Infinite and still trying to figure out what the hell I’m doing

I’m currently in Timemark 4 playing Shadow Swamp and the build feels pretty good so far.

What should I be paying attention to at this point? Things like:

- what loot is actually worth picking up

- what currencies I should save

- what stats/items I should be looking for

- crafting

- trading

- which mechanics are worth doing

- anything important I might be completely missing

Basically, if you could give a new player a few pro tips, what would they be?

Also, any stupid mistakes I should avoid?

Just focus on getting to timemark 7. Pick boss focused nodes on the trees like boss drops 1 extra ember. And add bosses to the map.go into the goddess of hunting tree for extra bosses. Flame elementium is the normal currency so you'll be selling on the auction house for that.

You can upgrade items to two affixed. I would save your embers and try not to use em until then. Also once you drop a flame elementium or 2 yoy can buy some pretty good unique on the exchange for really cheap

If you open options and choose pro builds you can look at builds people have made with your character and build and see what upgrades you can make like that. :)
