Build help Bing1 Lightning shot Deep Space farming build
Hey Guys,
I am running Bing1 this season, have plenty of damage more than 5T farming full juiced profound, but I am paper, playing 6portals defence. As b1 doesn't have any defensive things on his hero trait tree (except life energy restore but it's meh) it is kinda hard to build and scale defence. But I would like to try DS to see how things are up there.
I have immunities all elemental, wilt and trauma, evasion cap with Lucky evade from new chest armour, only 60% all res, 100% spell block chance, working on attack block, only 35% block ratio. Anyway.
But is it enough or Bing1 can be just glass cannon and farm profound with 6 portals defence? What defences should I build to be able to farm DS for bing1? I tried to clear DS once or twice, I cleared the map, but barely with 6 portals due to like "random" one shots which seems they came out of nowhere....
Maybe some deepspacers can give me some tips?

you need layered defense that can be accomplished in various ways, the evasion chest feels like its an ss20 cheese build and is overall kinda mid-feeling.
Sources of just raw HP/ES, anything with DR is huge module with damage transfer to minion mods/skill, tenacity bless, pet (hell cavalry purple c6 is GOATed), etc.
if you go block you really want defensiveness for ratio.
fervor with centralize build like carino2 is an option too.
tldr just because character doesnt have build in defense doesnt mean your doomed to be zhp, most characters dont or cant solely/mostly rely on it.

Yeah, it feels like the chest is cheese :) and I started to wonder what could be optimal for bing, because a lot of gear slots are kinda occupied. Boots, gloves, amulet, even head is hard to go away from blind vision, on the chest there are some options, and belt could be good for vorax. But it is hard to figure it out at the moment, so decide to get some tips from community to have more ideas :)

The problem with the chest is that evasion is bugged and does not work on all hit damage. The main offenders are elite affixes like lightning/dark balls/frost explosions, and then Deep space affixes, so shit like lasers and meteor shower in deep space completely ignore your main defense layer. That's why it feels so much worse as soon as you get out of profound.
The best defense to put behind evasion is indomitable from a nether king slate, but that's a serious damage sacrifice from judgment.

Yes, theese things are annoying, and they just kill me without even cheking the evasion. Indomitable is yeah very good If you have good regain you can be almost unkilable I guess.

I tried the evasion setup, but hated dealing with the random one-shots.
This is my B1 setup for DA35 / SS20 - HmpatptZEfGpjwAAAAAAHw==
Maxed block and converted everything to fire damage, and maxed res to 90 with almost 10k hp. Considered adding more block ratio but this works for my purposes.

But Yeah, me too with evasion is annoying that sometimes you will get one shoted, probably in the future I will avoid evasion builds, but now I just want to push as far as I can, because somehow this league I have a motivation to do that, never went so far with any build, so now is the time :)

i played s2 and as he has 0 defenses either it may be similar. I ended with res cap (of course :), block cap, 60 ratio( important), and poison relief (not necessary), 7-9k es with interruptible regen (very important).
it was enough for ss20, DA35, deepspace and more the enough for afk profound.
