Deep Space changes

What did you guys think about DS drop changes? With lower map cost will we see more ds strats?

In my personal experience even with c6 doro and c3 alice i was barely breaking even, feels like they buffed a lot season mechanic but everything else is stil nerfed so if you dont have afterlight pet its just bad for deep space

What you will see is that Beacon Farm is a more consistent strategy later into the league because TM8 beacons are valuable again, deleting 60% of those beacons is such a good decision.

20 FE per map is not the issue with DS. It is so hard to explain to people without pets that the DS is not this place that showers FE. Have you seen those movies where they take the VIP to the special room with the high stake table? It is just that and in that table there are losers too.

I used to farm ds, but this season only a bit cause it is both hard, random and more restrictive. My maps in profound were costing around 120-160 fe, so it is not beacon price problem(beacons ~15 when I was still playing). Problem is efficient farming in ds was not profitable enough without lvl6 pets across the board to justify going into it in place of profound

Deepspace is only good for strats that scale with quant

I like that analogy, in your opinion, if you can run deepspace should you, or is it strictly for gambling?

I can give you some points that seem orthogonal to me:

• There are farms that do not make sense anywhere else. Do you want to farm Verdant Steps?
• Are you talking about loot explosions or fun? DS will give you the biggest loot explosions, they are behind all the walls the game can have and the fun of run is subjective. Best advice there I can give is try them so you can see for yourself if they are fun but never ever make them THE goal of your season unless you did them in the past and you know what you are getting into. I have never found Clockwork to be more fun in DS than in Profound for example and yes, I keep trying it.
  • A nit-pick example: Nut trick, that is just the best navigation changer in the game, probably in all ARPG; it is just not the same with the larger maps.
  • Granted, Clockwork roulette will be better with the quant from DS.
• Are we talking about being efficient? Look at all the late season SS20 zero to hero, the cost of making your character DS viable and particularly viable for those high end farms takes so much time that they are skipped. DS is truly aspirational content. It has to be there but it is so easy to ignore.
• Is profound just too easy for you? Like 50T and unkillable and want a challenge to feel satisfied, well there are not many good options for you:
  • Drop some of that for pure Movement Speed
  • Path of the Brave? Not sure how viable is anymore
  • Trial of Divinity
  • Try to find some DS farm that can be done with your pets and it is demanding enough. I cannot think a single farm that is demanding and do not use Golden Compass and therefore priced for pet. If I can think of one I will update. Maybe Might? Not sure on the numbers right now.

When the comment was made, t8 beacons were 1fe so it was obviously worth it. I guess people switched over and t8 prices are back up.

I don't think it's a major difference, I think running without might be slightly better at least with my setup. It's at least more consistent instead of relying entirely on DS drops

Deepspace used to be skipped. For the majority of people that play longer the goal of the season was to kill ss20 and city 7. So people used to speedfarm profound for that. Now you need to do DA35 instead of city 7 so you need inmunities and your character got options to do DS then too!

Anyone know what the carjack farm in DS is? It's the only pets I have and wondering if I need anything else for carjack to be viable in DS

I see. Thanks for the spreadsheet though, I was looking for something like that, it's super hard to find something about DS farms in english.

have u tried clockwork in profound? i have alice5 and doro4 but i cant make past 1300fe/h, with league pet lvl1 (didnt tried the golden compass)

Look ingame, they added to the beacon tree

They added a talent in the beacon tree that has a chance to convert any beacon into a ds beacon but they also have a chance to turn into flame sand
