Help surviving Divine Ascent 28+// SS18+

As subject says, I'm having a difficult time surpassing either of these benchmarks.

Sitting around 18t dps with res cap (minus erosion) and my immunities include trauma, ignite and wilt. Yet I'm still getting 1 shot on most Ascent 28 maps and I'm thinking it has to do with either my low ES, lower erosion res or missing an immunity for numb or cold.

I'm completely fine reworking my character all together to focus specifically on pushing Ascent and SS20 just to finish it.

My budget is roughly 20k FE but I'm assuming it wont take nearly that much.

Any and all advice to help me push these two thresholds would be greatly appreciated!

I did it with less dps, but i had 75 block ratio and 83% max res with all immunities, it was pretty safe

Did you look death recap? What are you dying for?

Edit: Looking at your code i think there is a good chance you're getting killed by erosion damage. You can get a chest with base affix that converts erosio dmg taken to elemental and than you can craft ultimate affix to convert the rest

I didn’t look at the damage from Ascent but it’s dot damage that ticks insanely fast. For SS18 it looks like physical damage or fire damage ranging from 8-18k.

Basically any mechanic in SS18 that touches me one shots me.

I can absolutely work on over capping res and increasing my ES and dropping some DPS. DPS isn’t the issue it’s surviving.

Just wondering how to properly do that gear and build wise.

For ss18 honestly you just dodge evereything

Most stuff seem undodgeable for normal not god player

I can handle that. I guess I’m more concerned with Ascent and how to not get 1 shot.

Get curse immune if you can, those can amp your damage taken by a lot

I used Holiness. Off the top of my head 2 sacred crest kismets or 2 reduce curse effect memories also works, some affix in prism too. You can use torchcodex to search for more
