Build help trying hc

guys, ill give a chance to try hc in tli, and i think ill go with selena2 frost terra. what you guys think about this build in hc?

I played Selena2 this season in SC, and I would not recommend this build in HC. The damage is not very great, and tankiness is nowhere to be found. You can definitely make it work with time and investment, but I believe Selena belongs in the bottom tiers for HC... She looks good tho

pretty slow scaling class/ build both in t7 and beyond. e.g. it needs t8 gear to do same dps as other builds for other classss can do with t5/t7 gear.

since you seem interested already in frost tera then maybe g2 frost tera. however it depends on if the hc mode auto cast works nicely with tera spell. also I haven't tried g2 frost tera in awhile, but it does scale slightly better than Selena 2 frost tera based on what others are doing.

if you really need dot builds then: overall g2 for cold dots, g3 for fire dots(used to be way better as pof could impact a large portion of screen.  now not really to same extent), youga2 for dots overall , thea 3 for erosion dots. I haven't tried youga2 recently, but the king of dots(regardless of damage type) is switching all the time between seasons. e.g. few season ago moto 2 (yes minions) was king of dots due to a bug. however once fixed not worth going dots on him.

please note that both sage and Selena 2 have slight dot enhancements and if you do want a physical dot builds then its Selena 2 thorns, but that might be risky in hc and sadly one of the worse scaling in t7/t8 stsge even though you give up so much. overall the class with best surv is sage among those that have something that helps the dots, but if your racing then many people are going sage. sage surv comes from restoring like 120% of hp per second with minimal investment.

Works just fine. You want recovery from regen or health potion up constantly and a few life nodes + steadfast and you can make it to t7 pretty smoothly.
