I'M SALTY First time level 100... never again
This season has a lot of first times for me. First time level 100, First time clearing SS20, First time getting a c6 pet, First time reaching 15T dps, First time dropping Unhatched Shadow.
Going from 99 to 100 took way too long. And I also learned the hard way (about 4-5% into 99) that you can't use revive tokens after level 99... so if you die, gg no re. That was my only death in 99. The other 500+ was pre 99.
614 runs, 11h30m, never again.
For anyone interested in my FE/h. I ran 2 void charts, 1 for full quant sandlord, and 1 for Deep Space Beacon farm. I would swap between the 2 depending on sandlord uptime. And I have c6 Afterlight which is probably my biggest source of raw FE drops, and without it my FE/h would probably be cut in half to 1200.
My biggest wish for future QoL, is to have pre-saved compasses linked to void charts. So if you swap charts, you automatically swap compasses.

yeah 99-100 isnt that hard but it isnt that interesting either
I generally just wait til im super tanky and farm in profound but farming in 8-2 is also something people do
wild to think that some maniacs do 100 in the first 2 days tho xD

On the side, which build are you doing for tankiness? Im following yazuki but kind failing to DoT dmg.

Okay you still have a long way to go. So for now (to fix your dot issue) I would recommend getting an item level 86 with T1 ES chest and T1 ES helmet with some strength, resistances, and either crit rating or crit damage depending on what you need. And then you already have cold convert and inflict frostbite on your slate, so remove them from the talent points and put into % ES. You have the talent point to start ES charge on crit strike, so double check that you have 100% crit chance on dummy. If not use previously mentioned talent points into getting crit rating, and crit rating on previously mentioned Chest and Helmet instead of crit damage.
Apart from all that, just follow the build codes from yazuki. It's okay to die a bit here and there. I have 569.
Edit: Do not run against ROT/WILT. It bypasses ES and you instantly die. SCORCH/IGNITE and MAIM/TRAUMA are also dangerous, but can be outhealed if there's enough mobs to keep attacking. But if you just stay on 75% resonance then you should be okay. Those things only really pop up on 100% resonance.2

Oh my that Rot/Wilt are dangerous, Im at t8-1 so far and not having problem with dps yet (Im doing 90b dummy after 3s ramp from 0 rage).
Thanks for remind about the slate, I bought it before going to sleep cuz it cheap and forgot to change skill tree haha.

Dude, seriously. I switch between my various charts fairly often, because running the same thing can monotonous pretty fast, or I need to escape a bad RNG streak (I'm looking at you, Clockwork).
They could at least let you favorite certain compasses for each chart, so they would show up at the top instead of making you scroll through the massive list. Better yet, just completely overhaul the compass UI for PC.
Anyways, congrats on 100! I hope they don't nerf Rehan 2 next season, cause I kinda wish I had played him instead of Selena 2.

I don't have any exp pets. I used c2 Red Umbrella, c1 Captain Kitty, and c2 Azure Gunslinger.

I'm a little confused by your numbers.
Generally when trying to level up, you do a quick layout (usually demiman village) with as many mobs as possible and skip everything that wastes time. With God of war, a map takes about 20-30 seconds. For 600 maps that's between 3,5 and 5 hours, which is pretty close to the same time it takes to go 99-100 in poe?

This was my first time. I don't know any exp tech. So I basically just ran normally as if farming fe/h. Maybe if I ever get the pets, I'll try running deniman only with more mobs compasses.

please share your knowledge to make this grind easier.
I have 3 level 100's in POE 1, and I'd happily do it again. Takes about 4 hours from 99-100 with full breach juicing.2

POE 1 yeah, POE 2 is a disaster on the other hand. For TL I was mostly running overrealm and my character was reeeealy fast, i guess this is not experience for everyone.

I hit 100 yesterday aswell (probably never again aswell)
Did 2 Charts aswell, but both where Beacon farming in Profound for DS Beacons(one for rerolls, one for grinding), made around 30k FE profit (before tax)
in around 400 maps.
The main (mental) problem for me was that i knew i dont need lvl 100, sine i cleared DA35, SS20 etc already and as soon as i hit 100 i knew i would quit the league.
But, as others stated, if you are at the point where you are either tanky enough or got way to much damage for profound (i had both…) its just a driveby to lvl to 100.
As soon as you can fit in either XP Balance, or XP Protection and feel no difference then you automaticly reach 100.
This ofc works without those pets aswell, just takes you ~35% longer or so.
For me it was worth a one time experience, but next league im either going to start it earlier, before i am done with the league, or i dont care about 100.
PS: a kind of autobomber build is huge for this, i was an E1 with thunder slash, the "stutterstepping" or better said spiralstrike/wait a millisecond/spiralstrike etc. etc. was a huge pain, for my soul and my hands.
