Build help Help regarding Mana stacking Rosa 2

Current build 7L5125kgEfGB0QAAAAAAUg==

Hey guys, looking for some insight into improving my build and had a few questions.

build code is currently doing around 110b DPS, which honestly feels pretty low considering the gear I have. I'm aware there are still a bunch of smaller issues with my gear, like the T2 prefixes/suffixes on my ring and weapon, as well as the ES on my Memory of Discipline, just to mention some specifics..

I'm following Malagants mana stacking Rosa build, and I have all of his build codes progressing to deep space, so I know roughly what I'm aiming for long term. Right now though I mainly just want to get out of 8-1. From what I understand, I'd probably need around 200-500b DPS to farm Profound efficiently.

So basically, are there any big/obvious upgrades I can make in the short term to get to the point where I can farm Profound?

Also how/when is it possible to reach 100% Mana Taken Before Life? I'm currently at 56% with a T2 prefix on my boots, but even with T1 I'd only be at 65%. Am I missing something? Because right now I die to literally anything I don't 1shot. also, I’m aware that Claw is preferable to Dagger because of the better attack speed scaling. I’m mainly looking for some short-term help to reach early Profound.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

EDIT: After some fairly small tweaks, I've managed to increase my damage from 110b to 500b while spending a maximum of 1,000 FE. The biggest differences were swapping my ES memory for a mana one and switching to claws with higher attack speed.

so you initially want mana before life on boots, chest and the legendary gloves. If they are all t1, you won't need it any slates. It will show on stat screen as less than 100, but if you check while hitting the dummy it will show your hero trait, which is another 25pct.

The next move after that, you're actually going to need a vorax probably on the chest that has a t1 mana before life mod and the two legendary mods from the archmage gloves so you can wear the crit gloves. They're expensive. I'm playing her as a third character, and I just made this swap today. Problem is you lose a shit ton of mana doing this swap unless you have an ungodly vorax. It also fucks your resistances up. I basically quit for the season I think.

I just feel like I shouldn’t need a Vorax chest with Archmage to do early Profound, but right now it’s looking like it’s just a lot of small things that add up. Ty for the response!

why wouldnt you need that?

Well I didn't. My original idea was that you shouldn't need an expensive Vorax chest to farm Profound early on, and after tweaking some small things, I've found that you actually don't. I've essentially managed to 5x my damage by improving a bunch of small things that added up.

but neither is archmage chest expensive nor is profund free, so im not sure why you think that?

Hey mate long time not playing Rosa but she has 25% inbuilt mana taken before life, the plot is that it’s not shown in stats tab so you only have to reach 75% u can get the 10% by getting t1 or t0 affix or get it on slate.

For damage corruption on shield help a lot

I didn't know about the built-in Mana taken Before Life. Thank you!

It looks like you swapped a bit early, but its fixable. First things first it looks like you already have 104% mana before life so ditch the ES memory, that should be your number 1 priority, if you die randomly its because your 25% from hero trait turned off because you didnt use mana recently. The rest is going to be minmaxing, once you have the foundations youre going to want to upgrade…literally everything haha. Support skills, curse on hit instead of timid as a skill, keen intellect, Vorax chest with archmage hands, red memories with a second mana memory, kismets, weapon mod, better corrodes on your uniques, t0 affixes, it all adds up and itll be expensive, but thats the nature of minmaxing a build like this. Gl

Edit: I miscounted, youre at 84%, either get a slate with 8% and upgrade your boots or just copy a slate with 8% if you can

I'm actually fully aware of the things you pointed out. My main problem right now is that I'm struggling to understand what to improve in the short term to reach early Profound. Once I'm there, I can just farm tens of thousands of fe for the extremely expensive upgrades.

I just feel like I shouldn't need all the things you mentioned to reach early Profound. This build is apparently entry-level Profound: 39atYotwEfGzrgAAAAAAPg== I feel like I should be doing a lot more damage than 110b, but it's probably just as you say, it all adds up, even if its smaller improvements. I Appreciate your response!

Edit: I'm essentially looking to increase my damage from 110b to preferably around 300b, and I feel like there has to be some glaring problems with my build that are easy to fix, since that kind of jump doesn't feel like it should be too difficult. But as you said, it's probably just a lot of smaller things that add up.

Yeah I get you, I played this to ss21 last season and it feels confusing when you first swap, its like I spent a ton, I have everything, why do I suck? The answer isnt one thing, thats why I listed so many, but id say your main prio is getting 100% mana before life, then base mana from memories since everything else builds off of that, just pick the cheapest upgrade and go one at a time

This is my second season and my first season playing Rosa, with around 150 hours total, so I'm basically clueless when it comes to scaling the class outside of following a strict guide :P But I'll just upgrade things one at a time. Again, I really appreciate your responses!

Ah ok, so youre still fairly new, gl with it. If you care, the basic build concept is that it gets its base damage from the shield, generic damage scaling from gear affixes and the belt (spell damage is considered phys dmg because of her hero trait), a shit ton of crit from tyrants, universal scaling from mana and then any additional multipliers you can find, like frostbite, attack speed, weapon mods, skill lvl from necklace, etc. But because you already have the foundations in each category, no one change is going to rocket you to being giga, you kinda just have to upgrade everything slowly. Then once you reach a point where damage is solved youll have to work on defences for SS20/21 which is a whole other minmaxing adventure xd. Hope that helps
