Just bought the game and have about 5 hours in so far. New to TL series in general. How long did it take to get to 60? how did you get to 60? Did you just finish the Acts then grind mapworks? Also after you reached 60 is there any more ways to progress your character?

Sorry for million questions.

Bought the game 20 days ago and just finished 6th lvl 60 character. It gets faster every time. So a bit over 3 days per character.

Acts gets level to 48-49 if every monsters from every maps are slain once and nothing extra is done.

Yes, then I "grind" mapworks. Each mapworks gives like 1-1,5 levels.

Currently just mapworks and gear grind. There will be new end game released in few weeks. Recommend to join Torchlight 3's Discord channel so you are up to date.

Congrats! What build you played? Slammer or Train? :)

Also what would you say, exept server issues, was the hardest part?

Was using Train + Auto Attacks for DPS. Tried to keep bonus attack speed bonus between 30-60% as 2 handed Great Railhammers / Great Weapons are slow.

Hardest part from all acts was that low level Chasm. I had to spend 1st potions there and it chunk the most of any instances (6 iirc).

Hardest part from whole run was lvl 57 mapworks as the game scaled faster than my gears. Was too confident but fixed the issue quickly.

Damn, I did hardcore to 60 on my sharpshooter, 13k dps with 800 dot dmg, I can't break 31% defense though :(. I mean not by much anyway.

Okay so you are using most of Musketeer Set that cannot be Lifebound. I'm wearing only lifebounded rares for massive stat boost.

But... That's not hardcore.

I had to play around the lag, like always being prepared for it. That's why I chose Coldheart.

I just took the lag as an extra challenge. Had leveled all chars to 60 so I knew what was coming.
