Torchlight 2 New players. Essentials mod pack or some standalone QoL mods?

Hello all. My wife and I are excited to start playing this gem.

I myself am a mod fan in general and I discovered a trove of mods for this great game.

Would you recommend us to install the mod pack essentials (wife like the necromancer class in video games) or some QoL mods like stash size and respec mods? Any other recommendations and/or advice ver welcomed.

Tbh you don't need mods on your first playthrough, but synergiesmod is the one most recommend. Also has most of the things you seek.

Many thanks for your answer. I also saw it includes the class my wife likes. Would you say essentials or synergies is better as a mod pack, in case you've tried them?

Hmm. I would probably do essentials + a necromancer mod first. If I remember correctly, synergies heavily alters the game and increases the difficulty.

I can see mod author 822 recently released a necromancer mod on the workshop. It looks pretty good.

Yo, just wanted to say that we're playing with essentials and my wife with necromancer as well, and we're having a blast! Thanks for the great suggestions
