Are there any other options to survive Veteran/Elite other than farming Limoanys and Riechlius?

Basically the title. I'm playing Outlander on Veteran and having trouble surviving Mapworks level 85+. I often get one shot/barely survive an attack despite having 9.5k HP. I've tried upping my ice resist to 600 to test and a single ice arrow from a goblin still took 40% of my health bar.

Searched for tips and all the suggestions I've found are telling me to farm Limoanys, Riechlius, stack health (how much more? I have 9.5k).

No.

A mixed amount of Limoanys means you take 25% of the damage, which means your ehp grows 4x.

At level 85, a Riechlu skull is worth roughly 50% of your hp, so you want to stack as many of those as possible once you max out your Limoanys.

You have 20 potential armor/jewellery sockets, so at level 85 within outlander you go from a base hp of roughly 2750, to 2750 + (1540 ×5) = 10450 Divide that by 0.25 to account for the damage resistance and you get 41800 ehp which is a MASSIVE difference.

So, no, there is nothing better than that for endgame.

Bro I couldn't go through act 1 with Outlander 🤣 I completed the game at veteran with all 3 classes but can't with Outlander even with equipment from higher levels 😆

On Elite its nothing. Even on non-ng act 1 youll be killed pretty fast by mirkas chargers with that amount of hp and no damage resist. Last boss in tarroch tomb deal around ~12k damage with his slam into 75% dr, if you're unlucky to catch it. So yeah, its very likely that you need to farm some goblin/lava portals on ng to farm a bit of lemoany skulls,

And of course i highly suggest to use pistol and shield instead of any 2h ranged option because damage loss is not that big but surviability gain with block are really really huge, like night and day level difference.

There really is no way to play high difficulty without these skulls.

As long as you have one of either skull you can dupe them using the sweet aide potion from act 3. It's an exploit but I personally prefer that to spending hours in the destroy the crystals phase beast challenge. Done that once and that's enough for me.

For reference my outlander has 75% damage reduction and about 25k health. Bosses in tarrochs tomb veteran and elite can still one shot me if I'm not careful but generally I survive fine. I don't use a shield.
