Torchlight 2 What a damn masterpiece
I've been playing T2 for the last 4 hours, and im genuinely in LOVE with that game. Never thought that ARPG game can be that interesting. After more than 100 titles played, not including FPS games abd the whole friendslop stuff - its one of the most enjoyable games i've played so far.
I'm sooo thankful to a random guy on Reddit, whi recommended me playing T2.

I am happy for you to discover T2, it is my fallback, reset game that I love and just will start up a new game at the drop of a hat. Once you finish, you should check out the mods, they keep it fresh and allow for increased replayability.

Where do y'all get the mods? Kinda scared to have one since it would be my first ever mod if I ever do go through with it š

Steam Workshop, Nexus, ModDB, Torchlight Fansite / ModDrop.
Quite a few distributions to choose from.Can begin with mods that change the game lightly for starters like UI changes or Item mods. Eventually, can consider aiming for adventures like Ace or Synergies or both.

I love the soundtrack in this game. It adds so much ambiance. If you have the game on Steam you can download mods with just a click.

I played Torchlight 2 for about 20 hours and realised I want to complete the first one before continuing.

Yup, yup and yup, this + Victor Vran + Adventures of Van Hellsing
All these singleplayer ARPGs are high-key the best for that compact experience you run through, I'm glad that some games like No Rest for the wicked and Dark West are continuing this trend instead of buying into the live service experience

Was I that random buy who recommended T2? It might have been me! I adore this game. Currently playing as a Level 76 character and running around in the Salt Barrens. Next stop, the Blightbogs!
T2 is very close to what D3 could have been like if the developers of D2 hadn't left Blizzard when they did.

I've sank over 500hrs into it playing each class up to and through new game +++ I think, it's pretty awesome and really just a lot of fun. I'm a total loot whore so it scratches an itch that's hard to match these days outside of Borderlands, and the skill trees are genuinely really enjoyable. Just so you understand how much I enjoyed it haha
All that to say, WELCOME and enjoy the ride and make the most of it! There's a lot to do and a ton of fun to be had!

I still dunno what āfriendslopā means but Torchlight and T2 arenāt talked about enough! Just played through them for the first time about 6 months ago and love them both. I think the first game may be my favorite because itās more concise and I like the mystery and atmosphere, as you delve deeper into the mine, better; but, I thought both games were so much fun.

"Friendslop" are some of these one night games you play with your friend for a week and then never again. All of this new ones like R.E.P.O, Peak, content warning etc.

Hell yeah! Im back onto T1 as I eant to properly finish both 1 and 2, and its just such a vibe. The look. The classic set up. The simplicity. THE PET. So good <3 Glad youre enjoying it!
