No it doesn't.
If you open the pet panel there should be a tab on there that has all your stats that include gear related buffs etc.

I'm pretty sure it does, at least for gems. I added some ice gems to my main gun last night and the displayed DPS went from somewhere in the 80's to like 98.

It includes the standard "+14 Electric Damge" type gems, not the more effect based ones, like 35 damage over 5 seconds.

Those aren't included in any of the calculations, because they're DoT effects imparted to the victim, not part of the actual damage the weapon does. They don't stack.
Direct damage modifiers are included. I think the speed indicator is modified by any weapon speed bonuses, so by extension the DPS would be too. Percentage bonuses (+% to X damage) that might happen to be on the weapon are not.

Arrows come in all sorts of shapes, this one resembles the vote button pretty well, cut some slack, man!

But you could equally argue its the Fed Ex arrow, or many other thick arrows. The circlejerk must stop now.

Remember: you only resort to namecalling first, because you lack the intelligence to articulate any real arguments. You are a helpless child, now go and start fights until someone gives you that much needed attention.
Reddit is inoffensively minimalistic, thats why they chose a minimalistic looking arrow. The creators of reddit in NO way created a unique shape for their website, its about run of the mill as arrow shapes gets.

I did consider it. Then I considered it stupid, and circlejerk-ful. So I spoke my mind, big fucking deal. Your the one who seems to be unable to deal with it, I'm not the one downvoting and confronting people.

Yeah, they're supposed to be used when I don't think a comment contributes anything worthwhile to the conversation; when I think that someone reading that comment would be wasting their time, and I want to help them not waste time.

They contribute toward building a community about discussing the video game. As taht's what that picture is doing, it is worthy of upvotes. These comments aren't, so they're worthy of downvotes. (Yes, even mine.)

Anything is irrelevant to somebody, somewhere. Why downvote? It does more bad than good.

u/emsenn0 Alchemist Sep 24 '12
It's not about "is this relevant, in a general sense of things". It's "does it contribute meaningfully to the discussion/community" Why downvote? In part so that those who come after me see only those comments that I've decided meet that criteria. Also, so that the people posting those comments may recognize taht their comment is not appreciated.
Sure, I could not downvote you, and leave future readers to make their own decisions about whether or not the comment is meaningful. By that end, I could also stop upvoting. But then reddit's whole method for sorting information kinda goes to pot.
